What Charmin Bears Love: Food|Dogs|Sephora

Our foodie instincts take over when we're out and about.

Cuchi Cuchi @ 795 Main Street

I had to go back to this restaurant because it was a friend’s birthday dinner. To be honest, I don’t really understand the hype. It’s a cute little restaurant with an interesting theme, but the food isn’t worth the price they charge. I am only including the new dishes I tried this time.

We decided to try the fried artichoke hearts since that was what the waitress recommended last time. It was unimpressive, bland, dull, something you could probably do at home

The Beef Stroganoff wasn’t bad. The egg noodles were chewy and the beef was tender. I like the mushroom sauce. Overall, it was a good dish, but not worth $14.

Every bite of the risotto will overwhelm you with a very strong mushroom flavor. It was delicious, but I probably wouldn’t order it again considering it’s $12 for a small plate.

One thing I regret was not taking a picture of the Scallop Ceviche Shot. The presentation and preparation was actually quite unique. Although most of the dishes were good, I don’t feel as though their complexity, originality, presentation or taste really warrants the premium they charge. I would only recommend this restaurant if you’re the type that buys into hype and want to go for the sake of being able to say you’ve been to the burlesque-theme restaurant.
