Café Sambuca @ 105 Mulberry St (between Canal St & Hester St)

My friend Gene took me to a small Italian cafe hotspot in Little Italy, known for their homemade Tiramisu. I have got to agree that it is one of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. The cake was rich in taste, but light and creamy. The tiramisu is described to have Savaiardi cookies soaked with espresso & amaretto with layers of sweetened mascarpone cheese. We washed this down with a glass of delicious hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. It was perfect! Not too sweet, not too bland. A great treat on a rainy day.
