REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream - Sensitive Skin

REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream - Sensitive Skin

Pros: I love this moisturizer. Applies smoothly on my skin and doesn’t leave a messy oily residue. Great for sensitive skin! It was one of the reasons why I purchased it. To live in a city with so much pollution and what not in the air, this product helps to calm the skin. It is also marketed as anti-aging formula for it helps to fight signs of premature aging with antioxidants. I carry this in my gym bag everyday and it comes in handy when I need to shower after the gym. It is very hydrating and there is a nice clean scent to it!

Cons: Price tag! It costs $55 on Sephora :(

Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Pros: A popular moisturizer by Clinque. The price is decent. For  4.3 oz bottle, it’s $24.50 on Sephora. It’s the 3rd Step to Clinque’s Three Steps Skincare System. Made for the dry to combination skin type. It does the job to moisturize, but I wonder how my skin would look and feel with the first 2 steps products. I leave this bottle at home to use after my showers.

Cons: I hate the pump bottle. Clogs up easily and it squirts out alot of lotion at once in the beginning. Only towards the end of the bottle, will it pump up the correct amount.  Marketed as a lightweight formula, it still leaves an oily residue on my skin until it fully absorbs.

Overall, I prefer the REN products for my skin. Even though it’s sold at a steep price, the results are amazing. You can feel and see the difference after using it. Clinique will always have a special place in my heart. They are a reputable skincare line with great products and will always be a popular choice amongst women of all ages.
